CRAWLEY CLUBHOUSE DESTROYED BY FIRE

I'm sorry to announce that last night the Crawley clubhouse and track was destroyed by fire, along with two adjacent huts.

A first assumption is arson, but until the police and fire have investigated this can't be confirmed.

Having lost a number of key members over recent years, I'm not sure that we will be able to re-build and continue, even if the club house is re-constructedby the Council, or alternative premises become available.

I will advise more in the future as it becomes known.

How to get to the Crawley Track

The Crawley track is located in the Tilgate Recreation Centre in the Tilgate Forest on the Southern outskirts of Crawley, West Sussex.
From Junction 11 of the M23 motorway (Pease Pottage) take the A23 dual carriageway north towards Crawley. A new traffic light junction has been  installed on the dual carriage way leading down from Pease Pottage junction on M23. Travelling down hill from Pease Pottage towards Crawley, turn right at first set of lights, then right again onto track leading to the club.   Swerve around anti-traveller barriers and continue to hut 30.
