The 2009 Nationals

The Nationals is the biggest event in the British slot racing calendar, and also the event with most history having been run every year since 1964. 

 

Qualifying events throughout the year lead to the National Championships.  There are 2 events

 

The 3 day event to for the 4 individual classes.  This is the  most important single meeting of the season, and the meeting with the largest entry.  It is run for 4 classes of 1/32 cars - Production,  Saloon, Grand Prix  and Sports/GT .

 

The National Club team Championship.  This is an event for teams of 4 drivers representing club teams using 1/32 Group 12 powered Sports/GT cars.  This is held on a Sunday with the Production Challenge  1/32  Super-Production and Falcon powered F1s on the Saturday.  

The events are run to BSCRA rules.   As well as the overall championship which is open to everybody including premier grade drivers, there are also main and intermediate grade championships.  To see which grade you are in, see the current driver grade list.
