Current British Racing Rules

A quick guide to the various classes - updated for 2004

BSCRA   British Slot Car Racing Association

The Nationally agreed rules for 1/32 and 1/24 slot cars.  The BSCRA web site gives an introduction to the various classes. The following series are organized to these rule:

Qualifying Rounds throughout the Country on club tracks.

1 Annual National Finals (2004 Highland, 2002 and 2003 Guildford)

Qualifying rounds open to all BSCRA members, who can then qualify for the finals.

3 classes marked (I) are open to all BSCRA members, they race as individuals.

1/32 Production is open to Division 2 drivers only, they race as individuals.

The Club Team is open to teams of 4 drivers representing their club.

1/32 British Open Championships

1/32 Saloon 

1/32 Grand Prix 

1/32 Sports/GT 

Rounds throughout the Country on club tracks

Open to BSCRA members, they race as individuals.

Club members can not race at their home round.

1/24 National Championships

1/24 Production Saloon

1/24 Open Group 12

1/24 Eurosport

1 Annual National Finals (2004 Mallory Park, 2002, 2003 Guildford)

Qualifying rounds open to all BSCRA members,  they race as individuals.

4 events per year held on raceway style tracks Qualifying rounds open to all BSCRA members,  they race as individuals.
Southern 32 Racing League

1/32 Production 

1/32 Group 12 Sports

Rounds throughout the Southern England on club tracks.

Prod  race as individuals.

Group 12 race in teams of 2
