The BSCRA magazine Slot Car Racing is an important part of our operation for slot car racers in the UK. It keeps us all up to date and gives us technical and other information about the hobby. Colin Jackson has been the magazine editor for the last three years and has produced some excellent editions, bringing an understanding of the grass roots of our sport and a feel for the many clubs meeting out there every week.
 
 Colin has now decided to move on from the editorship, so I would like to announce the appointment of Pat Skene as BSCRA magazine editor. Pat is a keen supporter of slot racing, our existing PRO, and also a keen photographer. As a recent retiree, he will also have the time to continue BSCRA's tradition of  newsmag and magazine preparation.
 
 I would like to thank Colin for his efforts and wish him well in continued BSCRA membership and I hope continued contribution to the magazine. Colin and Pat have been working together on handover, and the "handover issue" of the magazine is imminent.

Pat's new role created a vacancy on the Council as PRO, James Cleave was appointed the new PRO in May 2010.
